Hello, Guten Tag, Hola, Bonjour!

Unfortunately I can only speak in English, so apologies for getting your hopes up for a multilingual ‘About’ page that will never come.

I’m James, a professional sports and press photographer originally from Stockport but now residing in sunny Stretford. I’ve been photographing sports of all kinds since 2017 but football is generally my speciality. I currently work as a staff photographer for Danehouse Photography, also based near Manchester, covering football on an almost-daily basis across a wide range of levels and countries.

My typical week is spent shooting Premier League football and am most often seen covering matches in the North of England, with the odd sojourn to the nation’s capital when called upon.
