The Code Replacer is a web-based tool designed to make one of the more repetitive parts of working on live sport considerably quicker.
Built by sports photographers, for sports photographers, it generates up-to-date and fully customisable code replacements that can be used with applications such as Photo Mechanic, Typinator and other text replacement software. Rather than spending time before a match manually building squad lists, checking shirt numbers and formatting names, The Code Replacer does the bulk of that work for you. Football coverage includes hundreds of clubs and national teams, with tools for generating individual squads, complete leagues, international teams and code replacements for fixtures through Today's Matches. You can generate both sides of a fixture together, or choose just the home or away team if that is all you need.
The app also includes flexible formatting options, allowing you to control team names, codes, player name formats, manager wording, native spellings and export formats. Downloads are available in formats designed to fit directly into an existing photography workflow, including CSV, TXT and bulk ZIP files. Alongside the main squad tools, The Code Replacer also includes website imports, cricket coverage and a growing library of additional downloadable code replacements, including professional referees. Spend less time preparing code replacements and more time concentrating on the job you are actually there to do.
